My friend Jacqi had promised that we’d go horse riding, but when she turned up there was no mention of it. The weather was dark and stormy and standing at the top of Aster Road, she suggested that I take a drive to the bottom of the road to the sea to witness how creepy it was (the sea is 15-20 miles away in reality). I visited her at her home and she had a baby in her arms. I was confused at the sight of the newborn but she assured me that it was hers. Next thing, I was standing outside my parents’ house with Jacqi’s two sons. The youngest was pissing me off so I went for him, pinned him down and smacked his head three times on the pavement. I let him go and he was still smiling, no signs of anger at all. Then his mum appeared and I felt so guilty. I apologised profusely while she inspected his forehead. Three huge lumps were now visibly growing as I watched, increasing my sense of guilt and remorse. They rose like mini soufflés!!! Jacqi said, “Oh my god” and tugged on one of the lumps. It stretched to 3 feet long, then she broke it half way down and pulled out some white fluffy stuff, handing some to me and Stu. She then pulled out some black fluffy stuff in along string and took a bite. I stared at her in disbelief; she encouraged us to try the white stuff, which I did as I felt I owed it to her. It tasted like marshmallow but I was too freaked out to enjoy it. Her son was still smiling…

Strange Phenomenon
As a surprise anniversary present, hubby wanted to take me away for the weekend. He hired a little silver open-topped sports car. He put the bags in the boot and told me to hop in. As we drove away, I was concerned about something, thought I might have forgotten something but he told me not to worry. We drove the 16 miles to Felixstowe, to a little guest house in a street that looked remarkably like a road in Ipswich. We headed back to Ipswich to see my parents and as I sat in the lounge, I noticed that people were outside looking up the road at the sky. I went outside to investigate. At first there was just a disturbance of the clouds, and then a circle of clear blue sky appeared with rotating clouds around it. Then there were neon green lights coming out of the clear patch, followed by neon blue ones, forming a runway and a ‘stargate’.
I ran in to get the camcorder but I’d left it at Felixstowe. I cursed my stupidity as I watched futuristic aircraft coming through the circle. Then it started to fade, so I tried to find my camera instead, but couldn’t find that either. After it had disappeared completely we got back in the car to go to the guest house, my dad waving goodbye. At the guest house, we went to bed but I couldn’t settle after the spectacle. Stu dozed off, so I got up and put the camcorder in my bag to make sure I didn’t forget it this time.
Next day we got to mum’s about the same time as the previous day and nothing seemed to happen. There was something electric about the atmosphere, but all seemed reasonably normal until we noticed that the bugs were behaving strangely. Everything they did was wrong – the flies were flying backwards and seemed to watching and tagging us!
The next day we headed home from our weekend away and went straight to my parents again, armed with camcorder and camera. At around the same time as the previous two encounters, we watched the sky for stargates but there was no sign of rotating clouds. Then I spotted something in the sky, larger than a bird. As it drew nearer, we realised it was a dog hanging in the sir without a care in the world. Then there was a cow, and another, then various other animals just floating aimlessly!! I wasn’t able to get a picture of them, or to record this event which annoyed me.
We went home. My eldest daughter and I were looking in my wardrobe for an particular item of clothing. She was taking the piss about some of my clothes. There were odd earrings in boxes hanging from the clothes rail.
[the sci-fi element of this dream had me pondering for weeks and I wished that it would really happen!]
