Tasty Treat

My friend Jacqi had promised that we’d go horse riding, but when she turned up there was no mention of it. The weather was dark and stormy and standing at the top of Aster Road, she suggested that I take a drive to the bottom of the road to the sea to witness how creepy it was (the sea is 15-20 miles away in reality). I visited her at her home and she had a baby in her arms. I was confused at the sight of the newborn but she assured me that it was hers. Next thing, I was standing outside my parents’ house with Jacqi’s two sons. The youngest was pissing me off so I went for him, pinned him down and smacked his head three times on the pavement. I let him go and he was still smiling, no signs of anger at all. Then his mum appeared and I felt so guilty. I apologised profusely while she inspected his forehead. Three huge lumps were now visibly growing as I watched, increasing my sense of guilt and remorse. They rose like mini soufflés!!! Jacqi said, “Oh my god” and tugged on one of the lumps. It stretched to 3 feet long, then she broke it half way down and pulled out some white fluffy stuff, handing some to me and Stu. She then pulled out some black fluffy stuff in along string and took a bite. I stared at her in disbelief; she encouraged us to try the white stuff, which I did as I felt I owed it to her. It tasted like marshmallow but I was too freaked out to enjoy it. Her son was still smiling…

[one of my more disturbing dreams]
